Urban
Urban combines creativity, technique, and courage. Riders perform spectacular tricks on urban obstacles or specially built courses. Flow, style, and originality are what count here.
Disciplines
Urban brings together several areas that cover the full spectrum of modern trick and obstacle riding:
Creative tricks and combinations on flat ground.
Use of obstacles such as stairs, rails, and ramps.
There are two variants in this discipline:
Trials: Overcoming obstacle sections with precision and balance.
Speed Trials: Head-to-head on identical courses—the faster time wins.
Jump competitions in height and distance—either over a bar or onto platforms (pallets).
Regulations
Urban competitions are conducted according to the IUF Rulebook. Judging considers technique, variety, creativity, and execution. For the jumping events, only the achieved height or distance counts. Any adjustments or notes for Unicon 22 will be published in due time.
Venues
The Urban competitions take place on specially prepared open areas in Steyr.
- Urban character with modern courses
- Good sightlines for spectators
- Accessible (barrier-free) access
As soon as detailed information about the areas is available, you’ll find it here or on the Venues page.
