Thank you for your interest in volunteering! We encourage everyone to volunteer at least once during UNICON. Do not worry if you think you may not be qualified – there are tasks for everyone.

Possible volunteer areas

Accreditation and information

Help with check-in, badge distribution and questions from participants and guests.

Competition teams

Support at competition venues, with timing, field coordination and setup or dismantling.

Logistics and venues

Help with transporting materials, setup, dismantling, directions and backstage support.

Guest support

Support participants, delegations, spectators and guests from around the world.

Media and communications

Help with photography, video, social media and supporting members of the press and media.

Muni shuttle and outdoor

Help with shuttles, course marshaling, directions and organizational tasks in outdoor areas.

What we expect – and what you receive

Requirements

Reliability and team spirit
Basic knowledge of German or English
Participation in a briefing if required for the selected task
For underage volunteers, parental or guardian consent may be required

New experiences and a look behind the scenes of UNICON
The opportunity to meet people from the international unicycling community
Confirmation of your volunteer work upon request

Volunteer shirts

One of the great aspects of volunteering is the volunteer shirt, which you can proudly wear during and after UNICON.

At previous UNICONs, however, confusion arose when volunteer shirts were worn outside active volunteer shifts. This made it difficult for organizers, participants and spectators to know who was currently available to assist them.

Please only wear your volunteer shirt while you are actively working as a volunteer.
