Two sports are at the heart of team competition:
Fast-paced game with a stick and a tennis ball—defined by speed and team tactics.
A classic game of basketball—played on a unicycle.
Regulations
The games follow the provisions of the IUF Rulebook and the rules of the relevant international federations. Any adjustments or notes for Unicon 22 will be published in due time.
Venues
The team sports competitions take place in modern sports halls in Steyr.

Organizing Team
The team sports competitions of Unicon 22 are coordinated by an experienced and internationally well-versed organizing team.
Sam Watson is part of the Hockey organizing team of UNICON 22. With nearly 20 years of unicycling experience and having led several major hockey tournaments, he contributes to a smooth and truly international competition at the highest level.
Nicolai Krieger is part of the Hockey leadership team of UNICON 22. With decades of experience in unicycle hockey, he ensures fair, safe, and high-quality games—from grassroots to elite level.
Steven Hughes supports the organization of the Hockey competitions at UNICON 22. Through his experience as Hockey Director at previous Unicons, he brings valuable expertise to large-scale and demanding tournaments.
Gaby is part of the Basketball organizing team of UNICON 22. With great enthusiasm for the sport and the international unicycling community, she is dedicated to making unicycle basketball visible and accessible.
Cyril supports the organization of the Basketball competitions at UNICON 22. With nearly three decades of unicycling experience, he brings valuable knowledge and commitment to the planning of a high-quality tournament.
